Can't wait for your thoughts on Wolf Hall Hannah. I thought it was an amazing work, I'm tempted to read it again during these cold, dark nights by the fireside ...!
I have just finished Wolf Hall, having savoured it over the past couple of weeks. So much to research further like the Hans Holbein portraits. I can see I must now revisit Hever too, it's many years since I was last there.
I, too, look forward to your take on Wolf Hall. It has been on my radar screen since it was first published. Once I started The Other Boleyn Girl, I couldn't get my nose out of the book, so, I need to have expendable time for Wolf Hall.
Having read 'The Other Boleyn Girl' by Philippa Gregory, it's interesting to see this portrait. It puts a face to the person that I've read about.
ReplyDeleteSuch an iconic portrait.

ReplyDeleteAnne Boleyn is my favorite historical figure to read about, so I am happy to see her portrait here!
ReplyDeleteWaiting for your Wolf Hall review! The last two posts have made me want to read the book pretty badly!
ReplyDeleteI almost picked up Wolf Hall the other day. It's out in paperback now and much less intimidating!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed Wolf Hall, will be very interested to hear what you thought of it!
